I hope you enjoy this small moment of grace from as much as I did. It’s a gift.

Carol L. Gloor is a retired attorney who writes poetry only when she feels like it. Nonetheless, many online and hard copy journals have seen fit to publish her, most recently Highland Park Poetry – Winter Musesand Rust Belt Chicago. Her full length poetry collection, Falling Back, will be published sometime in the Spring, 2018, which is a good thing because she needs to start caring about the poems in it, again. She made enough money as a lawyer to be in the middle class, but quit when the irritation factor started to overwhelm the good stuff, the point where she started having dreams about telling clients what she really thought of them. Poetry is much more fun, although there’s no money in it, but she’s too old to care at this point. Better just to pet the cats.
