    1. Thank you very much, Eilene! The photos were taken at Economy Point, Nova Scotia, where my maternal grandmother was from. My husband and I are looking forward to the time when we can return for another visit.

    1. Thank you for your insightful comments, Suzanne! Blake’s grains of sand were on my mind. (They’re not far from my mind most days, now that I think about it.) The photographs were taken on a trip to Economy Point, Nova Scotia, where my grandmother grew up, so it was a journey of discovery to find her spirit.
